The Enci and its link with the community

Abstract
The Coordination of Liaison with the Collectivity of the School of International Business and Commerce (ENCI), together with the Commercial Information Center (CICO), developed, during 2011, a set of events destined, on the one hand, to satisfy the expectations and development needs of the people who work in public and private entities of zone 1, and on the other, to meet the needs and requirements of teachers and students of the School.
Externally, some activities were developed. Thus, for example, within the framework of the existing agreement between PUCE-SI and the Hebrew Agency HIAS, 90 displaced Colombian persons and refugee applicants were trained from January 29 to July 9, 2011, with the purpose of start new businesses, through the course "Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Accounting". In addition, from April 12 to May 19, within the existing Agreement between PUCE-SI and CONADIS, different courses were given to students, children and adolescents of the School for the Deaf of the Provincial Board of Imbabura. These courses were on: "Self-motivation", "Leadership" and "Spiritual Education". On May 13, 2012, the Inter-Institutional Cooperation Agreement was signed between PUCE-SI and the Transport Cooperative “28 de Septiembre” of the city of Ibarra, with which 160 members and 120 drivers were trained from 6 July to December 16, 2011 on various topics: "The Philosophy and Quality of Service", "The Human Person and the Internal Customer", "Communication and Development of the Culture of Service", and "Quality in the User Attention and Service ”. Teachers and students of the School participated in all these events as trainers and instructors. Finally, in April, the ENCI participated in the “Diversity and Entrepreneurship Fair”, an event that was organized by HIAS.
