A further number, Axioma is consolidated in the scientific context with the incorporation of seven articles that attract attention for their contribution to the educational work and research in general. This is a process that does not stop, and that we continue to manage at the same time as the indexing of the journal in different national and international databases. This commitment to the teaching and research fields is confirmed by the distribution of four research articles; the first one presented in this issue, "INIAP genebank quinoa nucleus collections", identifies the germplasm of interest for genetic improvement programs for this grain native to the Andes.

For its part, "Cryo-preserved embryos as subjects of law" shows the urgency of regulating the legal situation of this large group of people who are not included in the various forms of guarantees on the protection and respect for life in the Ecuador; Given this situation, the author of the article proposes and delves into the solution of creating an institution for the prenatal adoption of these embryos. In addition, there is also room for a clinical case that has been poorly described in our setting previously, the “Terbinafine-associated fixed pigmentary erythema”, whose authors were able to diagnose after the study presented here, which is also of great interest in its context, since that your diagnosis can be challenging for the doctor. Regarding the study of the “Temporal variation of the factors of peak hour and hourly volume on two-lane highways. Case study: Vía Loja - Zamora ”, this is an article that analyzes the existing vehicular traffic on that section of road, paying attention to the relationship between traffic density and the different hours of the day.

The other three articles propose various aspects of teaching, such as "Pedagogy, the guiding science of Andragogy: Critical analysis of the role of the teacher in education", which studies, from a comparative perspective, how these two sciences are guides to and for the education, faces of the same dialectical pair with which to direct students academically and personally. The application of these educational theories is also given in the article “Critical vision and proposal to the teaching process plan for the Agronomy career in the face-to-face modality”, whose authors incorporate their theoretical and practical considerations based on their teaching experience and the documentary research; without a doubt, an opportune article in these urgent moments due to the necessary restructuring in the curricular meshes of this career. And aware that the field of teaching cannot be left behind as far as technological advances are concerned, the article "Use of the virtual classroom at the University to support the teaching of Mathematics" presents the learning theories that support the models instructional design, in addition to describing the elements and tools that were used to design a virtual classroom at the university level. I am grateful on behalf of the Editorial Board for all the contributions that have been sent to us, some of which we see reflected in this issue, while others, due to space limitations or for other reasons, could not be published. We thank all of these authors for their contributions to science in their personal and institutional contingent.
